  • Acting for a leading website in connection with a formal investigation by the Advertising Standards Authority
  • Helping a major fashion conglomerate with its compliance with the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 including drafting their public statements
  • Acting for a well-known UK listed retailer and fashion group in its acquisition of one of the world’s leading niche online fashion retailers. Our work included detailed compliance advice on acquisition which influenced the price our client paid. It also involved significant work post-acquisition including correcting compliance deficiencies and integration with our client’s existing retail portfolio.
  • Helping co-ordinate a product recall across Europe after harmful chemicals were found in shoes
  • Advising a US brand owner on strategies and programs to comply with the UK Bribery Act 2010
  • Assisting an industry body on submissions to the European Commission (the executive function of the EU) and UK Government on next-generation technology laws. Our submissions included detailed analysis of existing law and proposals on data privacy, cookies, behavioural advertising, information security, cloud computing, ecommerce, distance selling and social media
