A real-life ransomware incident

Jonathan will be joined by Kortney Nordrum of Deluxe Corporation, an American payments and data company whose history dates back to its founding in Minnesota in 1915.

Kortney and Jonathan will speak candidly about a real-life incident faced by Deluxe and the company’s response to a sustained ransomware attack.

Using real events and timelines, they will examine how the incident unfolded, the decisions made in response and the lessons learned throughout the process.

Rather than offering a theoretical overview of ransomware response, the session will provide a first-hand account of the practical challenges that can arise during a serious cyber incident and what other organisations can learn from Deluxe’s experience.
