Caterina Iodice is a dual-qualified Solicitor in England and Wales and an Avvocato in Italy. She brings extensive international experience to Punter Southall Law, advising on complex cross-border corporate and commercial matters.

Since 2008, Caterina has built a strong reputation for navigating cultural and legal differences across jurisdictions. She advises international businesses entering the UK market—whether through establishment or acquisition—and supports UK-based clients in developing and strengthening cross-border partnerships and strategic alliances worldwide.

Selected Experience

  • Cross-Border Acquisition (UK / Luxembourg / Italy): Advised a UK entity within an international group specialising in vending machines and related products on a complex multi-jurisdictional transaction. Provided strategic advice on the application of the National Security and Investment Act 2021, including preparing and submitting a mandatory notification and reviewing key transaction documents.
  • International Luxury Wine Platform (UK and global companies group): Advised a UK-based innovative start-up founded by a high-net-worth individual on the development of a global online auction platform for luxury wines. The role included company formation, drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements (including sale and purchase of goods and voucher arrangements), advising on GDPR compliance, corporate governance, and supporting multiple funding rounds through subscription and advance subscription (SAFE) agreements.
  • International Investment (UK / Cyprus / Singapore): Advised a UK parent company of a real estate investment and development group on an inbound investment by a Singapore-based investor. The work included advising on corporate structuring, negotiating a shareholders’ agreement, and restructuring financing arrangements through the novation of a convertible loan involving Cyprus and Singapore-based lenders.
